On the afternoon of November 19, Mr. Nguyen Duc Toan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quy Nhon Ward (Gia Lai Province) - said that the authorities had found the body of Ms. D.T.C (born in 1967, residing in District 9) after many hours of searching in the landslide that occurred in the early morning of the same day at Hai Minh fishing village.
"In the rubble of rubble, the force found an old woman buried in a house, the victim did not survive. The local government is implementing initial support steps for the family. For the house that completely collapsed, the locality will support according to the province's policy," Mr. Toan informed.

According to initial information, the landslide occurred at 3:00 a.m. the same day, causing the landslide to completely collapse a house, burying Ms. C. The rescue team brought the husband out safely this morning.
In the area of One Mountain (Quy Nhon Ward), the landslide occurred at around 2:00 a.m. on November 19 and is still continuing. Soil and rocks continue to overflow into the foot of the mountain in Quarter 57, threatening the safety of people living nearby.
The authorities of Quy Nhon ward have put up ropes and warning signs to prevent people from entering dangerous areas. The locality has also proactively evacuated 35 households along the foot of the mountain to safe shelters.
Currently, there are still 3 locations in the ward with a high risk of landslides. All residents at these locations have been evacuated to ensure maximum safety during the prolonged heavy rain.
