Recently, some passengers traveling to and from Tan Son Nhat airport have reported that the brick foundation at Terminal T3 has many sections with leaking, patchwork, and lack of aesthetics, causing many people to wonder about the quality of the newly put into use project.
On May 21, according to the reporter's actual records in the outer and inner lobby of Terminal T3, there are still some shortcomings that affect the aesthetics and experience of passengers.

Many sections of the paving bricks are peeling, cracked, cracked or discolored. Some areas have not been completely dredged or patched in a lack of synchronization, revealing long gaps. In addition, some areas still have signs "under construction", with fences made of ropes or corrugated iron, showing that the completion of the project is still ongoing.

Sharing with reporters, passenger Hoang Van Tho (residing in Go Vap District) who just landed at Terminal T3 shared: "I have high expectations for this project because it will help reduce the load on the current airport. But seeing many places with brick slices and peeling like that made me disappointed. It is not good to do a large project with large investments without reaching the finish line.
Similarly, Ms. Le Thi Kim Anh (Binh Thanh District) said: "The station has been put into operation but with the naked eye, it looks patchwork, lacking neatness, and looks very offensive. This requires reviewing the responsibility of the construction unit".

In this situation, the representative of Tan Son Nhat International Airport said that they have recorded the reflection and are working with the contractor to quickly fix it, ensuring that it does not affect the exploitation process and the image of the key project.

Earlier, on the evening of 7.5, the area of the T3 Station Station lobby also had a rainwater incident from the roof, forcing employees to use buckets, towels and mops to handle. By 10.5, the representative of the T3 Terminal Project Management Board said that the leak was thoroughly handled. The original cause was determined by shrinking of the material between the main roof and the light glass roof that made the glue connected open. The units pumped glue, reinforced the entire adjacent position.
Tan Son Nhat T3 Terminal has a total investment of more than VND 11,000 billion, started construction at the end of 2022 and inaugurated on April 19, 2025, 2 months ahead of schedule. The terminal has a designed capacity of 20 million passengers/year and is expected to reduce the pressure on Terminal T1, which has been overloaded for many years.
