HCMC - From May 17, all domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines will switch to operation at the T3 terminal of Tan Son Nhat airport.

On the morning of May 14, Tan Son Nhat International Airport informed that from 4:00 a.m. on May 17, all domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines will officially be operated at the T3 passenger terminal - a new project put into trial operation in the past.

The move to Terminal T3 is expected to reduce the load on Terminal T1, while bringing a better experience to passengers thanks to modern infrastructure, spacious space and amenities. Previously, Terminal T3 had successfully tested operations with a number of flights to Hanoi and Van Don.

Built according to international standards, Terminal T3 has a capacity to serve 20 million passengers per year, equipped with an automatic security check and procedures system, along with many convenient services for domestic passengers.

Other airlines such as VietJet Air, Pacific Airlines, Vasco, Bamboo Airways, Vietravel Airlines and flights by ATR72 (with flight number VN, to Con Dao, Ca Mau, Rach Gia) continue to operate at Terminal T1.
