The crowd was moved, memories revived
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper on September 4, although the National Day holiday has ended for 2 days, the Vietnam Exhibition Center is still bustling with visitors.

Notably, in that large stream of visitors, there are many former soldiers and veterans, all of whom are living witnesses of history.
For them, the exhibition is not only a place to display artifacts or images, but also a space to evoke memories, recalling a time of youth associated with the battlefield, with the years of building and defending the Fatherland.
Mr. Bui Van Tung (residing in Hanoi), a veteran who worked at the Armored Quarter Command, shared emotionally: For us, each exhibition room is not just an artifact. Those are the memories that have been revived, the youth that have been deposited in each national history. Witnessing today's results with our own eyes, we are even more proud because bone marrow was once invaluable."

A bridge between generations
Not only those who have gone through war, the exhibition is also a place for the younger generation to learn and feel about the 80 year journey of the nation.

Vu Anh Tung (residing in Thai Binh) expressed: The exhibition with the theme of 80 years of the Journey of Independence - freedom - Happiness is not only an occasion for historical gratitude, but also promotes the image of an innovative, dynamic, and integrated Vietnam. This is truly a bridge connecting generations, helping us to be proud and have more motivation to contribute to the country.
Those shares partly explain why the event attracted millions of visitors, creating a strong spillover effect in the community. Not just an exhibition, this is also an emotional journey, where each person finds the image of their homeland, country and themselves.
This year's National Achievements Exhibition is held on a large scale, associated with the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - freedom - Happiness".
Not only stopping at honoring the glorious historical journey, the exhibition also introduces a series of outstanding achievements in the fields of economy, politics, culture, society, national defense, security, and foreign affairs.

Along with that, the art space, performances, and experiential activities have created a festive atmosphere, attracting people of all ages.
In particular, modern military equipment and valuable historical artifacts on display have left a strong impression on visitors, especially veterans.
Many people here shared that this event not only promotes the image of an innovative, dynamic and deeply integrated Vietnam, but also contributes to strengthening people's trust in the country's sustainable development path.

It is also a reminder of the responsibility to preserve and promote historical values, while fostering more will and aspiration for the whole nation to rise up in the new journey.
The exhibition is open until September 15, 2025
