According to Lao Dong Newspaper, on the coffee hills in Mai Son, Thuan Chau, Yen Chau, Sop Cop, Chieng An... there is a fruit growing period, people are busy weeding, fertilizing to supplement potassium so that the fruit can turn beautiful and ripe to start harvesting in September.

Mr. Lo Van Pao (Buot Van village, Chieng Mai commune) said that his family has nearly 1 hectare of coffee. After the recent long flood, the family is taking advantage of the opportunity to hire more people to prune broken branches, while also weeding and fertilizing the fruits to cook evenly.
"The harvest is about to start in about a month, so now we have to focus on taking good care of the fruit to ensure the quality of the fruit" - Mr. Pao shared.
In Dam village, Pung Banh commune, Mr. Vi Van Hien's family is also busy taking care of 4 hectares of coffee according to an organic process to achieve the highest yield.
"This year the fruit is wrong, from now until harvest time if the weather is favorable, the yield will be high. If prices are stable, my family's 4 hectares of coffee will earn about 900 million VND" - Mr. Hien said.

To ensure output quality, cooperatives, cooperatives, and processing enterprises have proactively prepared stages early such as maintenance, upgrading equipment, machinery, factories, warehouses, wastewater treatment systems and planning to purchase fresh coffee beans from people.
Cat Que Production and Trading Company Limited, currently has two coffee processing facilities in Muong Chanh and Muoi Noi communes, which have invested nearly 3 billion VND to increase the capacity of processed coffee beans. At the same time, repair and upgrade the wastewater treatment area from coffee processing.

At Phuc Sinh Son La Joint Stock Company, the unit has also upgraded factories and machinery to increase processing capacity by 15% to continue producing Cascara tea from coffee beans.
Other units such as Minh Tien Company, Ara - Tay Cooperative... have also prepared plans to purchase and purchase coffee from the beginning of the crop.

According to the representative of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province, the whole province currently has more than 21,000 hectares of coffee, the output in 2025 is estimated at about 50,000 tons of coffee beans.
The whole province has more than 19,000 hectares that have been granted sustainable farming certification. Of which, 2 areas in Mai Son are recognized as high-tech production areas.
The "Son La Coffee" geographical indication has been issued to 7 enterprises and cooperatives. Coffee products in Son La have been exported to more than 20 countries and territories around the world.
"The world coffee price has tended to increase in recent days, which is also a good sign for coffee growers in Son La to believe in a better coffee season" - said a representative of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province.
