On February 18, the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training said it had just received a report from Nong Cong 2 High School (Nong Cong District) about a male student of the school being seriously stabbed in the school gate area.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred at around 10:00 a.m. on February 16. Male student L.H.N. (class 11A6, Nong Cong 2 High School) had a conflict with a person named Kien Hoang Gia (residing in Hoang Giang commune, Nong Cong district), leading to a fight.
During the fight, the two ran into the school gate area. As a result, both were injured by sharp objects. In which, male student L.H.N. suffered serious injuries to his hand and thigh.
After the incident, male student N. was taken to Tam Duc - Cau Quan General Hospital, then transferred to Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital for treatment.
A representative of Thanh Hoa General Hospital said that the male student was hospitalized with two stabs: one in his thigh and one in his left arm. In which, the wound on the left arm was severely damaged. Currently, after being treated by doctors, the male student's health condition is gradually stabilizing.
According to the school's report, up to now, the health of student L.H.N. and Mr. Kien Hoang Gia has stabilized, can recover and be discharged early. Currently, Nong Cong 2 High School is waiting for the investigation results from the police to have a direction for further handling.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, in early October 2024, a group of female students from Nong Cong 2 High School also beat up their friend. As a result, an 11th grade female student suffered a broken cervical vertebrae.
On February 18, Nong Cong 2 High School decided to discipline and force 4 female students who participated in beating up their friends to be expelled for 1 year.
