On the morning of September 22, after many hours of searching, people in Trung Loc commune, Nghe An province (ie Nghi Xa commune, the old Nghi Loc district) discovered the body of Ta Quynh A (18 months old) floating in a pond near their home.
According to initial information, at around 4:30 p.m. on September 21, A was playing in front of the gate of Hamlet 5 when he suddenly went missing. The family and hundreds of people organized searches everywhere but to no avail and reported to the local police.
That same night, the police and people continued to search. Early in the morning of September 22, A's body was discovered in the pond.
Trung Loc Commune Police and relevant agencies are continuing to investigate and clarify the cause of the child's tragic death.
