On the afternoon of September 15, Cat Tien 3 Commune Police (Lam Dong) said that they had coordinated with rescue forces to discover Mr. Nguyen Huu Ha (47 years old, residing in Da Teh Commune) after he had been missing for 3 days in Cat Tien National Park.
According to information from the authorities, at around 1:00 p.m. on September 13, Mr. Ha and his two children went to Sub-area 503 of Cat Tien National Park to find forest bamboo shoots. Before going deep into the forest, he left his two young children in a hut in Sub-zone 503 and went alone.

By the afternoon of September 14, the two children did not see their father return, so they called them but could not contact them, so they walked out onto the main road to inform their relatives. After that, the family organized a search for many hours but to no avail.
On the morning of September 15, Mr. Nguyen Van Son (Mr. Ha's brother) went to Cat Tien 3 Commune Police to report the incident. Immediately afterwards, the Commune Police advised the Commune People's Committee to mobilize local forces, coordinate with the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 4 (Lam Dong Provincial Police) to urgently search.
After about two hours of traveling through the forest, the authorities discovered Mr. Ha. He was immediately given water, food and medical attention.

Mr. Ha was safely taken out of the forest by the force and met his two young children and relatives in great joy.
