On the morning of September 6, the leader of the People's Committee of Dong Kho commune, Lam Dong province, said that there was a case of 1 person missing while wading across the river and the forces searching for the victim.
The missing victim is Mr. P.D.S (born in 1972, residing in Lac Hoa 2 village, Tanh Linh commune).
According to the notice of searching for missing people of Dong Kho Commune Police, people reported that at noon on September 5, Mr. S passed through the Ta La Nguu River, in La Nguu 2 village, to break bamboo shoots and was swept away by a large and fast-flowing stream.
After receiving the information, the Commune Police mobilized officers and soldiers and coordinated with local forces to search but could not find them.
Dong Kho Commune Police also issued notices to professional units under the Provincial Police and the police of communes and people in the area to coordinate the search for missing people.
