Accordingly, from January 1-29: In many areas in Lam Dong province, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and some places will have very heavy rain accompanied by tornadoes.

As of September 3, rain is still occurring in some communes and wards, which is at risk of causing damage to people's property, infrastructure and agricultural production.
On the evening of September 2, heavy rain caused thunderstorms and lightning, hitting Mr. L.M.H (born in 1968) to death in Tu Son village, Song Luy commune.
In Nam Thanh commune, more than 160 hectares of rice and lotus were flooded and damaged. Nghi Duc commune had 17 hectares of rice damaged and about 200 wells were flooded, causing pollution. And many other communes also suffered crop damage.

Heavy rain also damaged and caused landslides on many rural roads and inland roads, and landslides on 2 rural traffic bridges.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the forces have deployed plans to respond to heavy rains in the area, helping people focus on overcoming the consequences; cleaning up and moving people and property to safety.
At locations where bridges and culverts have been eroded, damaged, or flooded, forces have been deployed to prevent people and vehicles from passing through. At the same time, promptly grasp information, make preliminary statistics on damage, encourage and visit affected households.
