Flexible adaptation to make a living
Mr. Le Thanh Tung - a shipper - said that in 2022, he graduated from Business Administration. After graduating, he has applied for jobs at many companies. But over and over again, he had to stop before the requirements of having experience or prioritize candidates with experience who had worked in similar positions. Unable to find a suitable job, he decided to drive a technology car to make ends meet.
I run for 10-12 hours a day, earning about 250 - 300,000 VND. Although it was hard, at least I had money to pay for accommodation, eat and send some to my parents to return home. As for the other degree, I keep it in my hometown, considering it a memory of my student life, Mr. Tung shared.

Mr. Tung said that at first, he also felt sorry for himself because he thought he had studied for 4 years in college but had done unrelated work. But gradually, he realized that this job brought initiative, a stable income and most importantly, no one depended on him.
Similar to Mr. Tung, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - a technology motorbike taxi driver - said that driving has become a "lifeline" when the door to professional jobs closed. Driving does not require experience, only a motorbike, a smartphone and a small initial investment. More importantly, income can be seen immediately.
According to Mr. Binh, this job also gives him a lot of living. "Riding is the way I learn to be patient and communicate. In addition, this profession also trains financial management skills, handling flexible situations and most importantly, the will to not be afraid of difficulties. That is the capital of life that no school can teach," Mr. Binh shared.
nurturing aspirations
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Luong - a shipper who also runs a motorbike taxi - said that after graduating as a Plant Protection engineer, he has not found a job in his field. While waiting for the opportunity, he chose a solution to avoid falling into unemployment: delivering goods during the day, driving a technology car at night.
Every month, after deducting expenses, his income is also more than 10 million VND. "I have accumulated this amount of money, when I have enough capital, I will return to my hometown to start a business," Mr. Luong shared.

Mr. Luong also shared that many people debate "anh tai xe ham, anh tai lan lan lan lan shipper", but clearly, they do not sit still waiting or giving up. On the contrary, they have flexibly adapted, dared to face difficulties and created value themselves. This is also the beauty of today's young generation: dynamic, receptive and not afraid of challenges.
The important thing is that todays temporary jobs are not the end of the road, but can be a stepping stone for each person to accumulate life experience, experience and finances. So that when the opportunity comes tomorrow, I will confidently seize it. Being a shipper does not make me lose my dream, but is just a way to get there, Mr. Luong affirmed.
