At the session, the committees of the People's Council of Son La province approved the report on the review of draft resolutions submitted to the session; the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee reported on the acceptance and explanation of the review opinions of the Provincial People's Council Committees and the Provincial People's Council Delegation Groups on the draft resolutions submitted to the session.
The Provincial People's Council session passed resolutions on the establishment of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; adjusting the payroll assigned in Resolution No. 436/NQ-HDND dated December 5, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council to promptly meet the requirements and tasks of innovation and reorganization of the apparatus in the provincial political system, ensuring streamlining, effective and efficient operation; creating a premise for organizational and personnel work at the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, electing National Assembly delegates and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
The People's Council of Son La province has passed a Resolution amending and supplementing a number of contents in Resolution No. 420/NQ-HDND dated December 5, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council on the socio-economic development plan for 2025.
Along with that, high consensus with the plan and 4 groups of tasks and solutions set by the Provincial People's Committee with innovative thinking, breakthroughs, high determination, great efforts, and drastic actions to strive for the target of GRDP growth in 2025 of 8%.
At the same time, adjust some key indicators such as GRDP per capita reaching 61.8 million VND/person/year; agricultural, forestry and fishery economic structure accounting for 23.0%; industry and construction accounting for 29.0%; services accounting for 42.0%; total tourist turnover reached 5.3 million, revenue from tourism activities reached 6,300 billion VND.
The session also considered and voted to dismiss Ms. Mui Thi Hien from the position of Head of the Provincial People's Council's Economic and Budget Committee due to being assigned other work by competent authorities. Remove and elect members of the Provincial People's Committee, term XV, 2021-2026.
