On October 3, speaking with reporters, the leader of the People's Committee of Phuoc Thanh commune, Ho Chi Minh City said that the commune had inspected and recorded damaged points on the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang force road.
According to the survey results, Phuoc Thanh commune recorded that the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang power generation road was damaged and degraded on both sides of the road. The degraded section occurred in the bridge area across the Be River.
To ensure traffic safety and avoid unfortunate accidents, the People's Committee of Phuoc Thanh commune has sent a document to the Phu Giao Construction Investment Project Management Board to repair this damaged section.

According to the People's Committee of Phuoc Thanh commune, this route is still under warranty maintenance, so when discovered, the locality has petitioned the route management unit for coordination in handling.
Currently, relevant units are deploying vehicles and human resources to patch and repair the damaged section.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang power generation road, after a year of use, showed signs of deterioration.

It is noted that from the intersection of DT.741 road to Bau Bang (in Phuoc Thanh commune, Ho Chi Minh City) there are many small holes, even holes about 15 cm deep. Scattered along this route are also rocks and gravel that have peeled off, creating deep holes on the road surface.
It is known that the route was started in 2021, inaugurated and put into use at the end of September 2024. The project is about 48 km long, 6 lanes wide, and has a design speed of 80 km/h. The project has a total investment of more than 5,000 billion VND.
