On the afternoon of June 4, Hue Central Hospital said that after a serious traffic accident between a passenger bus and a truck at 1:30 a.m. on June 4 on the Hue City bypass, 27 people were injured and 1 person died on the spot.
The case of Mr. Vu Nguyen Hoang A (born in 2002, residing in Thanh Hoa, a bus conductor) who died.
The remaining victims include: Mai Xuan H (born in 1948, residing in Thanh Hoa) with multiple injuries, right thigh fracture; Mai Thi Bao A (born in 2013, residing in Thanh Hoa) with traumatic brain injury; Vu Van S (born in 1994, residing in Dong Nai) with injury to the legs on both sides.
The remaining 25 victims include 9 people residing in Thanh Hoa province; 5 people residing in Dong Nai; 6 people residing in Binh Thuan; 4 people residing in Ho Chi Minh City and 1 victim residing in Hau Giang, all diagnosed with multiple injuries.
As Lao Dong reported, at around 1:30 a.m. on June 4, on the Hue City bypass, through the 24 gas station (Km10+100), a serious traffic accident occurred between a passenger bus and a truck, killing 1 person and injuring 27 others.
According to initial information, the passenger bus with license plate 36B-036.xx, driven by driver Mai Van H (born in 1978, residing in Thanh Hoa), crashed into the rear of a truck with license plate 17H-011.xx.
At the time of the collision, the passenger bus was carrying 39 people. The incident is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
