Taxi driver in Dak Lak signs commitment to comply with traffic laws

Dak Lak - Functional forces have mobilized taxi drivers to sign commitments to comply with traffic laws.

On May 25, the Ea Kar area team under Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police organized propaganda and signed commitments to comply with the law on traffic order and safety for transport businesses and taxi drivers in the area.

At the propaganda session, the traffic police force disseminated many new regulations of the 2024 Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety.

At the same time, reminding taxi drivers to raise awareness of law compliance when participating in traffic to ensure safety for themselves, passengers and road users.

Functional forces require drivers to strictly comply with traffic lights, signs, and regulations on speed, lane and lane.

Drivers should absolutely not use alcohol, beer, or stimulants when driving; do not use phones during driving to avoid losing concentration and potential risk of traffic accidents.

Taxi drivers are reminded to pick up and drop off passengers in the right places, not to stop or park arbitrarily causing traffic obstruction; and at the same time proactively check the technical condition of vehicles before operating to ensure safety.

The Traffic Police force also recommends that drivers and passengers fasten seat belts throughout the journey; build a civilized and polite service style, and support passengers wholeheartedly.

According to the Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police, the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety in 2024 stipulates that driver's licenses are managed by points. Each driver's license has 12 points and points will be deducted if the vehicle operator violates traffic regulations.
