Bus driver opens door and hits motorcyclist fined 5 million VND

    Nghe An - The driver of the Northeast Bus Company was administratively fined 5 million VND for opening the car door and hitting 3 people on the motorbike.

    On the afternoon of May 11, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police said that driver D.M.L - the bus driver who caused the incident on the inner city road of Vinh City - had been fined for administrative violations for "unopening the car door unsafely".

    According to verification, while stopping at a red light at the Vinh market intersection, driver L. suddenly opened the car door, hitting 3 people sitting on a motorbike on the right side. Before that, the two sides had an argument after the bus horn made the motorbike driver startled.

    For the above behavior, driver L. was fined 5 million VND and had 2 points deducted from his driving license according to regulations.

    Along with the fine, the Traffic Police force worked with the representative of the Dong Bac Bus Company to request reminders and propaganda for the driver team, and rectify their behavior when participating in traffic.
