Ms. Ha Thi Thiet (68 years old, Nung ethnic group, living in the old Dong Dang town) was moved: "Since the country was still at war and in difficulty, the old Dong Dang town has been one of the places that suffered the Border War of 1979 with countless difficulties. Having gone through many ups and downs, Dong Dang has now become a bustling border town, more than anyone else, we clearly understand the value of independence and freedom".
In the atmosphere of celebrating National Day on September 2, many people across the country were present at Fansipan peak, wearing red shirts together, participating in the National Flag Ceremony and singing "Marching Song". The Upper Flag Ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere, people placed their hands on their left chest, and sang the National Anthem on the roof of the Indochina house.
In the vast space, admiring the majestic clouds and mountains from a height of 3,143m, everyone was filled with pride and gratitude for the values that their ancestors had devoted their lives to protecting.

According to Lao Dong, at Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area and the villages at the foot of the mountain are decorated with thousands of red flags with yellow stars, creating a beautiful scene.
