Despite the showers, many people flocked to Tay Do Park, Can Tho City to watch the fireworks display.
Mr. Nguyen Nhat Quang (28 years old, Ninh Kieu ward) shared: "It's okay when it rains, there are umbrellas (o), raincoats. The main thing is that the atmosphere here is wonderful, everyone is happy and full of energy to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2".
Sharing the same feelings with Mr. Hieu, Ms. Kieu Loan (An Binh ward) and a group of friends were present at the park from 6:00 p.m. to enjoy everything.
"The patriotism spreads in us, especially when this morning we watched parades and parades online and tonight we watched fireworks. This year's artistic fireworks display is very beautiful and very attractive".
Within the framework of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), in Can Tho City, there are 3 artistic fireworks display locations, including 1 high-altitude location at Tay Do Park and 2 low-altitude locations at Xa No Park, Urban Area 5A.
This is one of the highlights that attracts people and tourists to have fun and enjoy the festive atmosphere in the city center.
