Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee Nong Quang Nhat requested the doctors assigned in the first phase to uphold the spirit of responsibility, maintain medical ethics, proactively adapt, and promote professional capacity and experience.
At the same time, strengthen guidance, training, and technical transfer; support improving expertise and skills for local health officials.
In the first phase, the Thai Nguyen Department of Health assigned 46 doctors from 18 hospitals and the Provincial Center for Disease Control to 41 commune and ward health stations.
The deployment period is implemented from April 1 to the end of December 31, organized in many phases (deployment period is at least 3 months, maximum not exceeding 12 months/phase).
In the period 2026 - 2030, Thai Nguyen plans to have at least 4 doctors per health station.
Deploying doctors to grassroots levels is a practical solution to consolidate the medical human resources, contributing to improving the quality of health care and reducing the burden on upper levels.
