The Project of Connecting Road from Bac Son Road to Thai Nguyen Provincial Sports Complex is approved according to Decision No. 2380/QD-UBND dated August 3, 2024 of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.
This project belongs to Group B, with a total investment of nearly 398 billion VND, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board is the project investor.
According to the reporter's investigation, recently, the project investor has approved the contractor selection results for the bidding package: Construction of phase II.
The above construction package was widely bid through the network, with an estimated price of 110,785,990,097 VND from the local budget and revenue from land use fees and real estate rearrangement.
According to the approval decision, Corporation 319 of the Ministry of National Defense is the winning unit of the above bidding package with a price of 111,782,036,071 VND, the implementation time of the bidding package is 270 days.
Previously, from the end of December 2024, the bidding package: Construction of the project completed the selection of contractors and construction (winning bid price of nearly 97 billion VND).
According to the technical requirements in the bidding documents, the project will construct a road with a total length of 2.71km in Quyet Thang ward and Dai Phuc commune, Thai Nguyen province.
The starting point of the route (Km0) intersects with Bac Son road at a location about 0.17km from Tan Thanh parish church towards the city; the ending point (Km2+710) at the intersection between the section in front of Thai Nguyen Stadium and provincial road DT. 267 at Km2+650.
The road is designed with a scale of grade I - Urban road according to standards, design speed of 60km/h; roadbed width 36m, road surface width 21m (including 2 lanes), median strip width 3m, sidewalk width 12m (including both sides); Road surface structure paved with asphalt concrete.
Along with that, the project constructs the following items: Drainage works; Sidewalk and median strips; Traffic safety system; Technical trench system; Green trees; Lighting; Domestic water supply and fire prevention and fighting.
The time from commencement to completion of the project is 270 days.
The project is invested with the goal of gradually completing the transport infrastructure system in the area, improving transport connectivity capacity; consolidating and strengthening security - national defense, promoting socio-economic development, culture, sports and tourism.
