On the afternoon of December 10, the Son La Provincial Police Party Committee and Moc Chau District Party Committee held a working program to agree on a plan to arrange and deploy the establishment of Moc Chau Town Police.
At the working program, the units agreed on the content, roadmap, and specific time to arrange the organization of the Moc Chau Town Police, the Police of communes and wards in Moc Chau Town, ensuring consistency with the roadmap and time to arrange the Party organization, Party committees under the Town Police Party Committee and the Party cells of the communes and wards.
In addition, the two units also agreed on a plan to renovate, repair, and build new temporary offices and working equipment for the newly established police stations in communes and wards.
Previously, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 1280/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Son La province for the 2023-2025 period.
Accordingly, Moc Chau town was established on the basis of the entire natural area of 1,072.09 km2 and population of 148,259 people of Moc Chau district and the establishment and arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Moc Chau town.
