On the afternoon of April 1, Lam Dong Provincial Police coordinated with relevant units to investigate the cause of a young man jumping off a bridge in the Da Lat market area (Da Lat City).
According to initial information, at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. Tran Nguyen Hoang K (37 years old; living in Ward 5, Da Lat City) suddenly jumped from the bridge leading to the Da Lat market shopping area to the area below.
The incident caused the victim to suffer multiple injuries and was taken to the emergency room in critical condition.
Some witnesses said that Mr. K works as a flower collector from Van Thanh flower village to Da Lat market.
At the time of the incident, he showed signs of sadness and unstable mood. Relatives said that Mr. K had just had his bank account hacked, losing about 2 billion VND.
The authorities are continuing to verify and clarify the cause of the incident.
