On the afternoon of January 9, Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tinh chaired the Conference on deploying the work of the Ministry of Justice Inspectorate in 2025.
In 2024, regarding inspection and examination work, the Ministry Inspectorate conducted 29 inspection teams, including 11 specialized inspection teams, 8 administrative inspection teams, 2 thematic inspection teams, and 8 surprise inspection teams.
Through the inspection, the Chief Inspector of the Ministry issued 3 Decisions to recover money with the amount of 173,937,000 VND, 21 Decisions to impose administrative sanctions with the total amount of 188,500,000 VND, 2 Decisions to apply remedial measures, forcing the return of the amount of 3,517,458 VND.
Regarding citizen reception, the Ministry Inspectorate received 561 citizens coming to make complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections in 2024. Compared to the same period last year, the number of citizens coming to the Ministry Inspectorate to make complaints and denunciations increased by 22%.
At the conference, Mr. Dang Minh Quan - Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Justice - announced the Decision approving the Inspection Plan for 2025.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh requested the Ministry Inspectorate to effectively implement the policy of streamlining the apparatus according to the Plan, ensuring scientific, effective and objective nature in implementing tasks; at the same time, strengthen decentralization, delegation of authority, inspection and supervision in implementing the Inspection Plan;
Linking inspection work with the Party's inspection work, especially in the context of merging the Party Executive Committee into the Party Committee of the Ministry of Justice; Ensuring "Promoting Party spirit in building the Socialist Republic of Vietnam's rule-of-law State";
Research solutions to strengthen post-inspection inspection work to ensure that issued Inspection Conclusions are strictly and thoroughly implemented; conduct inspections to ensure proactiveness, flexibility, and objectivity;
Strengthen citizen reception work; proactively grasp the implementation situation of complicated and prolonged civil judgment enforcement cases to have proactive plans for citizen reception.
