Major park renovation
Hoi An Park was built in 2003, with an area of about 24 hectares, located in Lam Son and Truong Thi wards. The park has four fronts, located on the two most beautiful streets of Thanh Hoa City, Le Loi Avenue and Le Hoan Street.
After more than 20 years, in May 2024, this park was "majorly renovated", with an investment capital of more than 155 billion VND from the State budget. The project is invested by the Thanh Hoa City Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The project has renovated and upgraded the technical infrastructure system in an area of nearly 19.4 hectares, including 4 areas: Area A is attached to the memorial area of President Ho Chi Minh; Area B is a sports and physical training area for all classes of people; Area C is a forest area including hills, carpets of trees with typical trees of the province; Area D and the main gate (adjacent to Le Loi Avenue), Cau Pagoda, Hoi An ancient town version... During the implementation process, in addition to relocating about 800 trees that are not suitable for the species or do not ensure the location according to the planning, the construction unit has planted about 1,200 other trees... After about 8 months of construction, the project was inaugurated and put into use in mid-January 2025.
According to the representative of the Thanh Hoa City People's Committee, the goal of renovating the park this time is to maximize cultural values, create a highlight in the landscape space, harmoniously connect with the overall urban architecture, and contribute to socio-economic development.
According to the actual record at this park, after its inauguration and put into use, the appearance of this park has changed greatly, with more open space, many newly invested construction items, more spacious than before.
Project inspection decision
It is known that not long after the inauguration of the above project, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Inspectorate issued a decision to inspect the investment in the construction of the project to upgrade and renovate this park. According to Decision No. 63/QD-TTTH of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Inspectorate, the inspection period is from the date of the investment policy decision to the end of the investment project. The direct inspection period at the unit is 30 days from the date of announcement of the inspection decision.
The Thanh Hoa Provincial Inspection Delegation includes: Mr. Pham Xuan Dung - Inspector, Deputy Chief Inspector of Thanh Hoa Province as Head of the Delegation; Mr. Luong Ngoc Sang - Inspector, Head of the Complaints and Denunciations Inspection Department 1 as Deputy Head of the Delegation and a number of members who are officers of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Inspectorate. The inspection delegation is responsible for implementing the inspection plan approved by the Chief Inspector of the province and the provisions of the law on inspection.
Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Truong Nho Tu - Deputy Chief Inspector of Thanh Hoa province said that the inspection of Hoi An park project is according to the inspection plan for 2025 approved by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. According to the decision of the Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, in 2025, 8 projects will be inspected.
