Changing the route of the bus route to serve the construction of a traffic project in Hanoi

Hanoi changes the route of bus route No. 89 (Son Tay Bus Station - Yen Nghia Bus Station) to serve the construction of the 72-II bridge project on Provincial Road 423.

On September 4, the Hanoi Department of Construction announced traffic diversion for the construction of Package No. 22: Construction of bridge works and traffic assurance of the Bridge Construction Investment Project 72-II on Provincial Road 423.

Accordingly, all trucks and passenger cars (including buses) are prohibited from traveling through the bridge construction area. Only vehicles with ≤16 seats, motorbikes, rudimentary vehicles and passengers are allowed to travel through temporary bridges and bypasses.

The Department of Construction organizes traffic diversion as follows:

- Directions to Hung Dao commune = An Khanh commune: At Km9+200 road 423 (Cong Hoa pumping station): Means turning left = road 419 - Cho So - road 419 in Tien Phuong = road 6 (Chuc Son) or means turning left = road 419 - Cho So - Tan Phu = road Dai Thanh (old Quoc Oai) = Phuong Bai road = National Highway 6 (Bien Giang) or Km9+200 road 423 (Cong Hoa pumping station): Means turning right = road 419 - Quoc Oai - Dai Lo Thang Long (can change direction to overpass Dai Thang Thang Long bridge over Hoang Xa Xa bridge, Saigon - Saigon - Saigon - Saigon bridge overpass).

- Directions to An Khanh Commune = Hung Dao Commune: At the intersection of Road 423 with Ta Day dike: Link to Ta Day dike = Thang Long Avenue (can be changed to cross Thang Long Avenue over An Khanh overpass) or at the intersection of Km8+100, Road 423 = Van Con road: This is the right - Van Con road - Thang Long Avenue (can be changed to cross Thang Long Avenue over Song Phuong overpass).

For bus route No. 89 (Son Tay Bus Station - Yen Nghia Bus Station): agreed that the content of the proposal of the Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center had been agreed upon by the inter-sectoral (Department of Construction, Traffic Police Department - City Police, People's Committees of communes: An Khanh, Hung Dao, Investors and related agencies) at the meeting on July 22, 2025, as follows:

- Yen Nghia Bus Station - Son Tay Bus Station: Buses travel along the route: Yen Nghia - Quang Trung Bus Station (Ha Dong Ward) - Van Phuc - Dai Mo - 169 Dai Mo - Duong Noi Street - Le Trong Tan Street (Ha Dong) - Provincial Road 72 - Dong Street - D. An Khanh - An Khanh Overpass - Turning around the bridge's foot - Thang Long Avenue - 419 Street (old 80) - Thach That Intersection (old Lien Quan Town) - 419 Street (through Dai Dong, Cam Yen) - National Highway 32 - Chua Thong Street - Son Tay Bus Station.

- directions of Son Tay Bus Station Yen Nghia Bus Station: Buses travel along the route of Son Tay Bus Station - Chua Thong Street - National Highway 32 - Road 419 (through Dai Dong, Cam Yen) - Lien Quan Town - Road 419 (old 80) - Thang Long Avenue - Through the overpass of Road 419 - Thang Long Avenue - Dao Nguyen Street - Provincial Road 423 - Le Trong Tan Street (Ha Dong Ward) - Noi Road - Road 169 Dai Mo - Dai Mo - Van Phuc - Quang Trung (Ha Dong Ward) Yen Nghia Bus Station.

The implementation period is from 0:00 on September 9, 2025 to December 30, 2026.
