At the project, Truong Long Company is constructing a drainage system and sidewalk concrete, prioritizing completing the area in front of Phu Thuy 1 Primary School to ensure safety for students.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Thanh - in charge of construction techniques at Truong Long Company - said that the construction force is focusing on completing the area in front of the school, limiting the impact on people.
The project is about 2.636km long, with a total investment of more than 196 billion VND, started on June 22, 2026, with a implementation time of 365 days.
To date, the contractor has deployed about 1,600/5,272m of rainwater drainage system, 550/5,272m of wastewater system and completed about 200m of curbs and sidewalks.
Emphasizing labor safety at construction sites
During the September 2nd National Day holiday, contractors constructing the Mui Ne National Tourist Area centralized wastewater treatment project still maintained their work, while paying attention to labor safety and traffic.
The project has a total investment of more than 300.4 billion VND, with a recovered land area of 18, 576m2. Some pumping lines and tunnels No. 1, 3, 4 have been completed.
The contractor is deploying a rainwater and wastewater drainage system on Nguyen Minh Chau - To Hieu street, Nguyen Dinh Chieu routes and pumping tunnel No. 2. The realized value reaches about 22% of the contract.
Mr. Hoang Van Dong - Deputy Director in charge of the Phan Thiet Regional Construction Investment Project Management Board - said: During the holiday, the unit requests contractors to base on the actual situation to organize appropriate construction, not to affect the travel of people and tourists.
At construction locations, contractors must arrange barriers, warning signs and organize appropriate traffic diversion.
Materials, soil, rocks, and waste are also collected regularly to limit the risk of unsafety and ensure environmental sanitation.
According to the Project Management Board, maintaining construction throughout the holiday must go hand in hand with ensuring safety for workers and traffic participants.
This is an important requirement to both maintain progress and limit incidents during project implementation.
