Son La - The body of the last victim in the flash flood in Son La that occurred on the night of July 26 and early morning of July 27 has been found.

On August 7, a representative of the People's Committee of Chieng So commune (Son La) said that the body of Mr. Lo Van T (born in 1977, residing in Huoi Sai village, Chieng So commune), a victim swept away by floodwaters since the night of July 26 and early morning of July 27, had been found.

The victim's body was discovered by people in Quyet Thang village, Thiet Ong commune (old Ba Thuoc district), Thanh Hoa province in the area of the Ma River bank.

As soon as the information was received, the authorities verified the victim's identity and handed it over to the family.

The flash flood that occurred on the night of July 26 and early morning of July 27 in Son La left 6 people dead and missing. To date, all victims swept away by the flash flood have been found.
