Accordingly, on the evening of November 14, relatives from Nghe An province went to Vung Ang ward, Ha Tinh province to confirm that the body of the woman who washed up on the beach was Ms. Pham Thi N (born in 1969, residing in Than Linh commune, Nghe An province).
After that, Vung Ang Ward Police organized the handover of the body to the family to take him back to his hometown for burial.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that at around 10:25 p.m. on November 14, local people discovered the body of a woman in the stone embankment area on the coast of residential group 2 Hai Phong, Vung Ang ward, so they reported it to the authorities.
Immediately after receiving the information, Vung Ang ward sent forces to the scene, conducted verification, protected the scene and served the investigation.
The authorities identified the body as a female, about 1.5m tall, wearing a yellow T-shirt and black pants. The victim had no identification documents on him.
After that, Vung Ang Ward Police announced the search for relatives of the woman's body.
Previously, on November 11, Ms. Pham Thi N left a letter to her relatives stating that she had a physical pain, was mentally tired and did not want to bother her children and grandchildren, so she would jump over Ben Thuy Bridge (across Lam River, connecting Nghe An province with Ha Tinh). After that, she committed suicide by jumping off the bridge.
After receiving the information, in recent days, the authorities have organized a search.
