On November 2, the leader of Ben Thanh Ward People's Committee confirmed that the above incident had occurred in the area.
The incident occurred at noon on November 1 at house number 14 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ben Thanh Ward. The victim was Mr. N.M.N. (18 years old, a paint worker).
According to initial information, while repairing the front of the house, Mr. N. slipped and fell from the stairs. He was lucky to fall on the tarpaulin of the house next door.
Security camera images showed Mr. N. falling from a high floor, causing a loud noise. However, although the tarpaulin helped reduce the impact, the tarpaulin later torn, causing Mr. N. to continue to fall and hit a resident standing below.
Immediately after the incident, Ben Thanh Ward Police arrived at the scene in time to assist and take Mr. N. and the person who was hit to the hospital for first aid.
The authorities are continuing to clarify the cause of this work accident.
