On the morning of June 29, the People's Committee of Yen Bai province organized the Technical Traffic opening of the road connecting Nguyen Tat Thanh to Au Co Street under the Project for Developing the Whole of dynamic Urban Areas - Yen Bai City Sub-project.
This is a key traffic infrastructure project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee (June 30, 1945 - June 30, 2025).
The route connecting Nguyen Tat Thanh with Au Co Street is more than 4.2 km long - one of the key traffic projects of Yen Bai city, with a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND.


Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Viet Dung - Director of the Yen Bai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the opening of the route is an important milestone in the development of urban traffic infrastructure.
Thereby, contributing to shortening travel time from Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway through IC12 intersection to National Highway 37, National Highway 70 and especially Ho Thac Ba National Tourist Area; realizing the goal of building a green, harmonious, unique and happy Yen Bai city.
At the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh acknowledged and commended the investor, consulting and construction units, local authorities and especially 323 households in the project area for reclaiming nearly 53 hectares of land... for their efforts in completing the road.
At the same time, it was emphasized that this is the first project in the package of dynamic urban projects with loans from the WB that does not have to extend the construction time.


The Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Bai province requested to continue organizing construction urgently and effectively to complete the remaining items of the project according to the committed plan.
