On January 21, according to information from the Southern Expressway Project Management Board (Vietnam Expressway Corporation - VEC), to date, the construction output of the entire Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project has reached about 97%.
The project has completed construction of about 55km. Of which, 30km has been put into operation, toll collection with full 7/7 intersections. The remaining 25km has been completed but cannot be operated due to no up and down intersections.

Currently, the entire project only has 2 bidding packages under construction: National Highway 51 intersection and Phuoc Khanh bridge.
In which, the National Highway 51 intersection package, the construction output has reached about 53%. The contractor has completed most of the drilled piles, bridge piers, and at the same time deployed roadbed construction, casting and rolling Super-T girders, and bridge deck construction. This package is expected to be completed in April 2026 and does not affect the operation of the opened route sections.
For the Phuoc Khanh bridge package, the contractor is focusing on constructing the main span of the Phuoc Khanh cable-stayed bridge, has completed the installation of the 6th cable bundle and is preparing to deploy the next items of the approach bridge section. The progress of this package basically meets the approved plan, expected to be completed in July 2026.
According to representatives of the Southern Expressway Project Management Board, the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway project will organize construction throughout Tet to ensure the completion progress and traffic opening of the entire Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway in the third quarter of 2026.

Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway has a route length of more than 57km, passing through Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City provinces. The expressway is invested on a scale of 4 motorized lanes, 2 emergency stop lanes, design speed of 100km/h, meeting expressway type A standards.
The project starts at the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway intersection, ending at the National Highway 51 intersection. This is a strategic horizontal axis connecting the Mekong Delta with Long Thanh airport.
On December 19, 2025, Binh Khanh bridge, one of the 2 largest bridges on the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway, was completed and inaugurated.
Regarding site clearance work, at the National Highway 51 intersection package, from November 2025 to early January 2026, the locality handed over land 95/111 cases, equivalent to about 2.15ha. Through mobilization work, recently more households have continued to hand over more land to serve construction work.
