On May 30, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee said that in the coming time, land recovery will be implemented at 67 projects to serve socio-economic development for national and public interests.
According to Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, all projects before being included in the land recovery list were consulted and proposed by departments, branches and People's Committees of relevant communes and wards. This list has also been considered and approved by the Provincial People's Council according to regulations.
A total of 67 projects must recover land with an area of about 453.72 ha. Among them, some large-scale projects such as the new rural residential area of Hoa Thang commune, Buon Ma Thuot city (old), now belonging to Tan Lap ward, with an area of more than 26.7 ha; Tan Tien Industrial Cluster with an area of more than 74 ha.
According to the assessment of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, the projects proposed for land recovery not only serve immediate development needs but also have long-term strategic significance for the socio-economic development of the locality.
In which, many transport infrastructure projects are expected to contribute to strengthening inter-regional connectivity, promoting goods trade and creating favorable conditions to attract businesses to invest in Dak Lak.
Mr. Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee said that the addition of the list of land recovery projects is an important basis for localities to implement compensation and site clearance, accelerate the progress of public investment projects, technical infrastructure works, transportation and projects serving socio-economic development in the area.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, the early completion of legal procedures related to land recovery is also expected to remove difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing key projects.
Thereby, attracting non-budget investment capital, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.
