Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee said that in the past time, the ward has actively coordinated with functional agencies to promote propaganda and mobilize people in site clearance to serve the construction of the Ring Road 2.5 project from Nguyen Trai (National Highway 6) to Dam Hong.
The project has a length of 1,520m, a cross-section scale of 40m of roadbed with a total investment of 2,433 billion VND. There are 703 cases (13 organizations and 690 households and individuals) subject to site clearance with a total recovered land area of 60,902.1m2 and 36 cases (33 households, individuals and 3 organizations) have been approved by the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan district (old) for compensation for site clearance damage (phase I).
For 36 cases (33 households, individuals and 3 organizations) that have been approved by Thanh Xuan District (old) People's Committee for compensation for site clearance damage (phase I), on January 6, Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee held a meeting to announce the deadline for relocating assets and architectural structures for these cases.
On January 8, Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee issued Notice No. 10/TB-UBND to households on notifying the relocation of all people, assets, and architectural structures attached to the land and handing over the land area within the site clearance boundary to implement the project.
On January 12, Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee issued Decision No. 71/QD-UBND on the establishment of 2 groups to mobilize and persuade land users and owners of assets attached to land to implement the Ring Road 2.5 construction investment project from Nguyen Trai (National Highway 6) to Dam Hong (for organizations and individuals who have received compensation money).
The Ward People's Committee has coordinated with the Party Building Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, the Women's Union, the Veterans Association, the Youth Union and the residential area political system to mobilize and persuade households to sign land handover minutes. As a result, 12 households handed over the land and some households committed to hand over the land before January 26.
Chairman of Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee Nguyen Sy Doan emphasized that the Ring Road 2.5 project, when completed, will play the role of an important connecting traffic axis, helping to divert traffic, reduce the load on current overloaded roads, gradually solve traffic congestion, create motivation to promote socio-economic development, and improve the quality of life of people in the area.
According to Mr. Doan, the early handover of land not only shows the spirit of responsibility and consensus of the people but also contributes to ensuring construction progress, avoiding costs and prolonging project implementation time.
Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee wishes to continue to receive the support, coordination and sharing of households that have received compensation and support money, to soon complete the handover of land, creating favorable conditions for the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section, to be implemented on schedule and achieve high efficiency.
Ring Road 2.5 has a total length of about 19.64km, planning width of 40-50m. Starting point in Ciputra New Urban Area, ending at the intersection with Ring Road 3 (section near Thanh Tri bridge).
To date, Ring Road 2.5 has been put into use 5/13 sections with a length of 11.28km. The Ministry is implementing 8/13 sections with a length of more than 8km.
Regarding the Ring Road 2.5 project, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc requested the Party Committee and City People's Committee to direct the City People's Committee, departments, branches, and the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board; Party committees and ward authorities must clearly define political responsibilities to complete site clearance and complete the entire project in 2026.
