Quang Ninh - Functional forces have just destroyed 28,800 poultry eggs of unknown origin, proposing a fine of 90 million VND for violating cargo owners.

On February 22, at the Eastern Waste Treatment Joint Stock Company (Hai Ninh commune), functional forces organized the destruction of 28,800 unincubated duck eggs of unknown origin according to regulations.

Previously, at about 2 pm on February 20, Market Management Team No. 4 (Quang Ninh Market Management Sub-Department) in coordination with Road Traffic Police Team No. 3, Quang Ninh Provincial Police inspected a truck with license plate 75C-087. 34 driven by Mr. Bui Duc Thanh (residing in Quang Duc commune), parked in Hai Dong 9 neighborhood, Mong Cai 3 ward.

Through inspection, functional forces discovered that the car was transporting 28,800 uncooked duck eggs. The entire shipment had no information showing the origin. At the time of inspection, Mr. Thanh could not present invoices and documents proving the legality of the shipment.

Market Management Team No. 4 made a record, temporarily seized all exhibits for verification, and at the same time submitted to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision to sanction administrative violations of 90 million VND against Mr. Bui Duc Thanh for the act of trading in food of unknown origin.

All violating eggs have been destroyed according to regulations, ensuring food safety and hygiene and preventing the risk of epidemics.
