In the early morning of March 10, authorities in Ninh Hoa town discovered the body of a second male student on the shore of Thuy Dam residential group, Ninh Thuy ward, about 1km from the missing location.
Yesterday, rescue forces discovered the body of a victim in an area about 150m from the coast of Ninh Thuy commune.
During the search for the missing victims, the authorities of Ninh Thuy ward mobilized two more fishing boats of fishermen, two water motorbikes and 10 local divers.
However, due to unfavorable weather conditions with big waves and strong winds, the search encountered many difficulties.
2 days before, Mr. Nguyen Thai H (residing in Thanh Danh, Ninh Diem, Ninh Hoa) went to Ninh Thuy Ward Police to report that his son, Nguyen Minh D (born in 2007) went missing while swimming with Huynh Hoang T (born in 2009, both residing in the locality).
According to information from the family, the two children left home at 5:30 a.m. to go to the coastal area near Cat Trang tourist area, in Ba Ha 2 residential group, Ninh Thuy ward.
By 8am the same day, the family had not yet seen the two return. When searching, relatives discovered a motorbike with license plate 79H1-063.xx and two pairs of sandals on the sand, but could not find the whereabouts of the two students.
