On the evening of April 2nd, functional forces of Hai Binh ward (Thanh Hoa province) are urgently deploying the search for 2 missing children suspected of drowning while swimming in the sea.
According to initial information, on the afternoon of April 1, a group of 4 children invited each other to swim in the Hai Binh beach area. After that, the 2 children left first, and the remaining 2 children continued to stay. In the evening of the same day, the family did not see the children return, so they panicked and organized searches in many places but found no trace.
The two children were identified as H.B.H. and H.T.L. (both born in 2014, residing in Truc Lam ward, Thanh Hoa province).
Immediately after receiving the news, local authorities coordinated with the police, border guards and people to urgently deploy search operations. Many fishermen and boats in the area were also mobilized to support the search along the coast and suspicious waters.
Until about 7:30 pm on April 2, the search work was still being maintained urgently, but the 2 children have not been found yet.
Currently, functional forces continue to expand the search area, and at the same time monitor tidal developments and currents to serve rescue work.
