On November 18, the Da Nang City Military Command said that at around 3:00 p.m. on November 17, a resident in Tra No village, Phuoc Tra commune was confirmed missing in floods. The victim was Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hanh (born in 1979).
At 13:10 on November 18, the authorities found the victim, about 500-600m from the missing location.
Participating in the search were the PTKV 3 - Tra My force, Da Nang City Military Command, including 10 comrades; militia of Hiep Duc and Phuoc Tra communes with 7 comrades; and about 30 officers and soldiers of other forces. The scene commander was led by comrade Ho Thang Tra - PTKV 3 Command Board.
In addition to searching for missing people, local military forces are also closely monitoring the flood situation in Son Cam Ha, Phuoc Tra, and Hiep Duc communes. Many large landslides were recorded on National Highway 14E (Km 59+300), DT615B route and Phu Nhon and Thanh Binh villages... Many households had to evacuate due to the risk of further landslides.
On the same day, the Tra Tan Commune Military Command and militia deployed forces to support people to overcome the consequences of floods.
Accordingly, the heavy rain caused flash floods on the night of November 17, causing many households in Nuoc Oa village, Tra Tan commune, to sweep away 2 motorbikes, 1 small truck and flood their houses in the area.

As soon as the water receded, working groups were assigned to each affected area to pull the swept away vehicles, clear mud, collect items and help people clean up their houses.
The military and militia forces of the commune also coordinated with local organizations to clean up traffic routes and support the repair of initial damage in the house. At the same time, the soldiers transported clean water, food and necessities to severely damaged households, ensuring immediate living conditions; giving each household gifts including 1 box of instant noodles and 5kg of rice.
With a proactive, responsible spirit and serving the people, the Commune Military Command and the militia have made an important contribution to helping people soon stabilize their lives after the flash flood.
