Body of 8th grade male student found drowned in irrigation lake

    Quang Tri - Rescuers found the body of a male student who drowned in Ha Thuong irrigation lake.

    On October 23, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Quang Tri Provincial Police) confirmed that rescue forces had just found the body of a drowning victim.

    At around 3:30 p.m. the same day, the unit received information that someone had drowned at Ha Thuong irrigation lake, passing through Tan Van village (Gio An commune, Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province), so it sent 20 officers and soldiers to the scene. At around 5 p.m., the rescue team found the victim's body and brought it to shore.

    The drowning victim was male student T.D.H (born in 2011, 8th grader, residing in Hao Son village, Gio An commune). Previously, the victim and a group of friends went to Ha Thuong lake to play, unfortunately slipped into the lake and drowned.
