Kon Tum - After many hours of searching, the body of the victim who jumped off the bridge was salvaged by the authorities and brought to shore.

On February 22, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department ( Kon Tum Provincial Police) said that the unit had recovered the body of a young man who jumped off a bridge to commit suicide.

The victim was T.L.V (31 years old), residing in group 2, Le Loi ward, Kon Tum city.

Earlier, on the evening of February 20, passersby discovered Mr. V jumping off the bridge into the Dak Bla River to commit suicide. Upon receiving the news, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene, dispatching a canoe and 12 officers and soldiers.

Due to the darkness and wide river surface, rescue and search for victims encountered many difficulties. The soldiers had to search and carefully examine the area around the scene and the area with fast-flowing water.

After nearly a day of searching around the Dak Bla River area, the authorities found and recovered the young man's body.

The family came to receive and bring Mr. V's body to bury. The cause of the incident is being investigated by the authorities.
