On October 26, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Dak Lak Provincial Police) informed that the unit had just coordinated with the authorities of Lam Dong province to find the body of a missing female student in the lower part of the Serepok River.
According to initial information, at around 7am on October 25, the authorities received a report from local residents about a female student suspected of jumping off a bridge.
Next, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Dak Lak Provincial Police) dispatched a rescue boat with 12 officers and soldiers and 1 specialized rescue vehicle.
The victim was identified as N.H.V.A (born in 2008). V.A is suspected of committing suicide by jumping off a bridge due to the pressure of studying. However, due to unfavorable weather, rescue work encountered many difficulties.
By the morning of October 26, the authorities had found the body of V.A in Lam Dong province (about 3km from the suspected bridge jumping site) and completed the handover procedures for the family for funeral arrangements.
