According to initial information, at around 9am the same day, at the beach area of Tran Phu Street, near Tram Huong Tower (Nha Trang Ward), a man was suddenly swept away by a large wave nearly 10m from the shore, showing signs of drowning.
As soon as they recognized the emergency situation, rescue staff from Nha Trang Bay Management Board quickly plunged into the sea, approached and brought the victim to shore safely.
According to Nha Trang Bay Management Board, thanks to the smooth and professional coordination, the man regained consciousness after receiving first aid.
However, to ensure safety, the rescue team contacted an ambulance to take the victim to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for a comprehensive health check.
Initial verification showed that the rescued person was a tourist from Hanoi City, currently staying at a hotel in Nha Trang ward.
Nha Trang beach rescue forces warn that currently, coastal areas have big waves, posing a potential danger. People and tourists are advised not to swim in the sea during bad weather conditions to avoid unfortunate incidents.
