Body of missing teenager found while fishing in stream in Son La

Son La - On the morning of August 3, the body of a 14-year-old boy who slipped and went missing while fishing in Nam Ban stream, Sop Cop commune was found.

Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. on August 2, V.T.V, born in 2011, (residing in Na Loc village, Sop Cop commune) went fishing in the Nam Ban stream area, through Sop Cop village.

While fishing, the fish was unfortunately caught in the foot, causing V to fall into the rushing water and be swept away.

Immediately after the incident, Sop Cop commune mobilized forces to organize the search.

At around 9:30 a.m. on August 3, the authorities found the victim's body in the Ta Co hydroelectric reservoir area, about 5km from the scene of the incident.

Currently, the authorities are completing the procedures to hand over the body to the family.
