On the high mountain slopes, amid erratic rain and sunshine, the construction teams still divided into 3 shifts, 4 teams working day and night to install electric poles over 80m high, weighing hundreds of tons.
Time pressure and harsh terrain cannot harm the will of workers who are contributing to this key project.
"As soon as there is a site, we start construction" - Mr. Ha Van Binh shared. The male worker said that at points with complex terrain, every stage from material transportation, foundation construction, pole building to pulling the rope must be coordinated smoothly, ensuring absolute safety.

Not only an energy project, the project also took place at the right time when localities restructured the administrative apparatus according to the two-level government model. In that context, localities have shown responsible participation, promptly completing the measurement work, determining boundaries, paying compensation, and mobilizing people to hand over the site.
In Lam Thuong commune, Lao Cai province, where more than 70% of the population is ethnic minorities, all households with electric pole locations passing through have agreed to hand over the site.
"I am a citizen, but I also understand the Party and State's policy on developing the national grid. This project is for the common good, people need to contribute, whoever can help can help. I also regularly work with households in clean water supply, supporting logistics for brothers at the construction site, said Mr. Nguyen Quang Ngoi - the pioneer in donating land to build a 500kV power line.

In Luc Yen commune, Lao Cai province, the commune police force and functional agencies have been increased, directly supporting people to dismantle and move their houses out of the project-affected area. Urgent atmosphere, close coordination took place in all areas the route passed through.
Just like in Lao Cai, Phu Tho province has mobilized the entire political system to participate, becoming an "extended arm" in implementing the Central Government's direction. From opening service roads, removing administrative procedures to resettlement arrangements, site clearance, there are special working groups to support quick and flexible handling.

The project has a total length of nearly 90km passing through Phu Tho province, with 195 pole foundation locations. Up to now, all of these locations have been cleared and handed over to the investor for construction.
Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong affirmed: "This is a project of special significance in ensuring power sources for economic development, especially in industrial parks and industrial clusters that are developing strongly. The site clearance work in 18 communes with routes has basically ensured the set progress".
