Taking care of children and students' health
Recently, the Buon Don Commune Health Station (Dak Lak Province) has synchronously deployed health care and vaccination for children in the area. Thanks to that, the rate of children with dangerous infectious diseases has decreased sharply.
At Y cut Primary School, staff and station staff came to support health care consultation, health promotion, disease prevention and vaccination for children under 7 years old.

Ms. Su Ra Bkrong (residing in Buon Don commune) shared that the family was very assured when the Commune Health Station supported nutritional care for their child nearly 3 years old. In recent years, people with young children in preschool and primary school have been fortunate to receive health care from the government.
"Thanks to that, working-age couples can work with peace of mind, improve their family economy, many households' houses have been renovated, and the countryside is more spacious" - Ms. Su Ra Mekong shared more.
According to the Buon Don Commune Health Station, in the first 9 months of 2025, the total number of children under 1 year old who were vaccinated regularly was 81/105, reaching 65.35% of the plan.
The rate of 18-month-old children vaccinated with Measles - Rubella is 86/105 children, reaching 81.90% of the plan. The rate of pregnant women getting 3 doses of tetanus vaccine is 86.67% of the plan. It is expected that by the end of 2025, these targets will reach over 90%.

Specificate important criteria
According to research, the National Target Program on commune health includes 10 criteria for health care: Directing and managing health care; medical human resources; infrastructure of commune health stations; equipment, drugs and other means; preventive medicine;
HIV/AIDS prevention and control; environmental sanitation and food safety; medical examination, treatment, rehabilitation and traditional medicine; maternal and child health care; population - family planning; communication - health education; application of information technology.

For these criteria, Buon Don Commune Health Station focuses on the key goal of effectively implementing health care for people, synchronizing facilities and strengthening preventive medicine.
These are key contents, directly meeting the needs of medical examination and treatment for ethnic minority people.

Mr. Y Nham Nie - Head of Buon Don Commune Health Station - affirmed that the unit is not following targets or achievements.
The unit implements tasks and plans to bring practical efficiency in health care for people. Thereby, helping to improve the health of the elderly, ensuring nutrition and regular vaccination for children in the area.
