On December 6, speaking with Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vu Thu district (Thai Binh province) - confirmed that in the past 2 days, 2 more illegal concrete mixing stations in Viet Hung commune were dismantled by their owners after propaganda and mobilization by the district and commune authorities.
These are the cases of Mr. Pham Quang Quynh's household (residing in My Loc 1 village, Viet Hung commune) and Mr. Pham Quang Khoang's household (residing in the same village).
"Thus, up to now, in the district, there have been 5 illegal concrete mixing stations in Vu Van, Viet Thuan, Tan Phong and Viet Hung communes that voluntarily complied with the demolition, without resistance after being explained and persuaded. Currently, there is only 1 more illegal mixing station in Tan Lap commune, the violator is asking for more time to dismantle it himself," said Mr. Huy.

Previously, as Lao Dong reported, on November 4, the People's Committee of Vu Thu district held a meeting to continue to strengthen and tighten the handling of violations against illegal concrete mixing stations in the district.
At the meeting, the owners of four illegal concrete mixing stations in three communes, Tan Phong, Viet Hung and Tan Lap, pledged to dismantle all illegal constructions and restore the site.
Then, from November 14 to November 20, Mr. Tran Trung Nghia's household (residing in Tan Phong commune) completed the self-dismantling of the entire illegal concrete mixing station of his family located outside the right dike of Tra Ly, passing through Tan Phong commune.

Before that, on October 30 and 31, under the direction of the People's Committee of Vu Thu district, departments, branches and units coordinated with local authorities of Vu Van and Viet Thuan communes to propagate and mobilize before enforcing measures to remedy the consequences of administrative violations against 2 business households in the area.

Case 1, at the Red River sandbank corresponding to K182+600 of the Ta Hong Ha II dike, Vu Van commune, Mr. Vu Van Hung's household (residing in Nhan Binh village, Vu Van commune); case 2 is Mr. Nguyen Xuan Mai's household (residing in Thai Hac village, Viet Thuan commune) arbitrarily installed and welded 2 concrete mixing station silos on the land outside the Red River sandbank at the corresponding location K181+400 of the Ta Hong Ha II dike, Viet Thuan commune.

After being explained, informed, and mobilized, the two cases voluntarily complied with the order to dismantle the illegal constructions and restore the site to its original state. Instead of having to enforce, the authorities of Vu Thu district only had to support and supervise the households during the process of self-dismantling the violations.
The leader of Vu Thu district said that in the coming time, the district will continue to strengthen direction and strictly handle violations and problems related to land and dikes, especially violations outside the dikes and river banks in the coastal communes.
