On November 6, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Team 1, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security) informed that the unit had just fined a driver who encroached on the lane and recklessly overtook, endangering vehicles traveling on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.
Previously, on November 4, Team 1 received a complaint from the people that at around 3:30 p.m., the passenger bus with license plate number 29F - 034.XX was driving in the wrong lane and recklessly overtaking at Km190+580, Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.
Through verification, the driver of vehicle with license plate 29F - 034.XX who was driving in the wrong lane and recklessly overtaking was Mr. N.V.P (born in 1977, residing in Son Tay town, Hanoi city).
Team 1 invited Mr. N.V.P. to the Traffic Police headquarters to work.
Based on the provisions of the law, Mr. N.V.P was fined 5 million VND for administrative violations and had his driver's license revoked for 2 months.
