The Project of the Road from Thuy Van Industrial Park to the connecting road Nguyen Tat Thanh - Ton Duc Thang, Viet Tri city (old) was approved according to Decision No. 1235/QD-UBND dated April 24, 2024 of Viet Tri City People's Committee previously.
This project belongs to Group B, with a total investment of nearly 500 billion VND from the upper-level budget support, Viet Tri city budget and other legally mobilized capital sources.

After the two-level local government model went into operation, the project was transferred from the Viet Tri City Infrastructure Construction Project Management Board to the Phu Tho Regional Project Management Board.
Belonging to the project, Package No. 13: Construction and installation of the project has completed contractor selection from the end of May 2025 and construction to date, the winning bid price is nearly 335 billion VND, the completion time of the package is 900 days.

According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in early April 2026, the road has its starting point at the intersection with Truong Chinh street in the south of Thuy Van Industrial Park; the ending point at the intersection connecting Nguyen Tat Thanh - Ton Duc Thang streets.
It can be seen that the road, more than 4.5km long, passes through the fields and residential areas of Thuy Van, Thanh Dinh, and Chu Hoa communes of the old Viet Tri city (now Nong Trang ward, Hy Cuong commune).

On the entire route, most of the roadbed is being excavated and reclaimed, some sections have not been constructed because site clearance has not been completed.
The starting point of the route connects directly to Truong Chinh street - the main road through Thuy Van Industrial Park, where many large factories are concentrated and there are many workers.

When the road is completed, this starting point will become a place to "welcome" thousands of workers from neighboring communes and wards to choose to leave after each working day.
With the end point of the route, because it is only about 2.8km from the main gate to the Hung Temple Festival center, after completion, the route will become one of the options for people and tourists to go to Hung Temple (direction parallel to Nguyen Tat Thanh street to Hung Temple).

According to technical requirements in the bidding documents, the road is designed according to regional main road standards, speed of 50km/h, roadbed width of 27m, road surface width of 15m, sidewalk width of 6m on each side...
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of the Phu Tho Regional Project Management Board - said that more than 50 households subject to land acquisition are being inventoried; sections that have completed site clearance are being urgently constructed. Up to now, the project implementation volume has reached about 15 - 20%.

The road is built to ensure a continuous, synchronous, and modern transport infrastructure; meeting traffic needs and serving production, economic trade, connecting the regional transport network... contributing to the economic, cultural and social development of the province.
