On October 17, information from the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Thanh Hoa Provincial Police) said that the unit is still searching for the missing man on the river in Yen Nhan commune, Thanh Hoa province.
According to initial information, at around 6:00 p.m. on October 15, Mr. L.V.N. (born in 1985, residing in Minh Quang village, Luong Son commune) with Mr. L.V.K. (born in 1985, living in the same village) came to play at Mr. L.X.T's fish raft. (Lua village, Yen Nhan commune).
After that, the 3 people sat drinking beer on the fish raft. At around 8:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. N. went to the area outside the fish raft, about 6m from his seat. A moment later, not seeing Mr. N. return, the two friends went to look for him but there were no whereabouts.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 5 (Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police) mobilized forces and specialized vehicles to the scene to organize the search.
As of the morning of October 17, the victim has not been found.
