Previously, at 6:10 am on April 10, 2026, the People's Committee of Vu Phuc ward (Hung Yen province) received a report from people reflecting on the discovery of an abandoned baby near the Tan Minh Residential Group Cultural House area, belonging to Tan Minh residential group, Vu Phuc ward, Hung Yen province.
The People's Committee of Vu Phuc Ward issued Notice No. 55/TB-UBND dated April 10, 2026 on the case of abandoned children and publicly posted the Notice for 7 consecutive days (from April 10, 2026 to April 17, 2026).After the posting period expires, the Ward People's Committee will not receive feedback on the abandoned child's biological father, mother, grandparents or relatives.The Ward People's Committee has carried out the birth registration for the abandoned child according to the provisions of law.
Based on Point a, Clause 2, Article 15 of the Law on Adopting and related legal documents, the People's Committee of Vu Phuc Ward informs anyone wishing to adopt children to contact the People's Committee of Vu Phuc Ward for consideration, resolution or guidance on raising children.
The Ward People's Committee said that the Ward People's Committee will receive applications for adopting abandoned children within 5 working days from the date of issuance of this Notice. After the above deadline, the Ward People's Committee will stop receiving applications to consider and resolve adoption according to regulations. In case there are no Vietnamese citizens permanently residing in the country who adopt children, the Ward People's Committee will carry out the next procedures to protect the rights of children according to the provisions of law.
