On September 24, the leader of Vinh Hung Ward People's Committee (Nghe An) said that a serious accident had just occurred in the area between a concrete mixer truck and a motorbike.
At about 8:30 a.m. the same day, a tanker truck with license plate 37H-071.64 (driver's identity unknown) was traveling on National Highway 1A, passing through Vinh Hung Ward. When turning across the railway to enter the road along the national highway, the tanker truck collided with a motorbike driven by Ms. Nguyen Thi D. (born in 1975, residing in Hai Loc commune, Nghe An), carrying Ms. Pham Thi T. (born in 1965, residing in the same commune).
The collision caused both of them to fall onto the road, were run over by a tanker truck and died on the spot.
After receiving the report, the authorities quickly arrived to block off and examine the scene. The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified.
